Research and Examples

I found a brochure on teen pregnancy/ teen parenthood on the following website, www.racsb.state.va.us/publications/ptpbrochure.pdf. I feel this brochure is like mine in many ways, these are as follows. The multiple things i see in this brochure and mine are the both contain different shades of colors. Also they both are about teen parenting.
The typography in this brochure is Serif, i feel this was used because it goes along very well with the informational part of the brochure. The audience is pointed towards teenagers. The color and style is very informational, i feel this goes along very well because it is all informational so the color and style make the information stick out a lot more. I feel that the design is boring and will not be able to catch the eyes of teenagers. But on the other hand i feel the less the design you incorporate to the brochure the more time will be spent reading the information.

final project

i have received my final project back from Ms.Wilson with corrections that needed to  be done.  i needed to capitalize some letters, change some colors, and change around my cover page of my brochure. i have completed the brochure with the corrections, so it is now complete!

Logo (brand)-

logo(brand)-
Typography: The typography i used was Sans serif i decided to use this font, because i feel it goes along very well with the baby 101 design. My audience is Teenagers just like my brochure, I am hoping all this will attract them to read the brochure. The colors i used were black and yellow, i chose for the background to be black so it would stick out from all of my bright colors of my brochure and be very visible to the eye. I chose to make the text on the insides yellow because i wanted something would stick out from the black but blend in the rest of the brochure. Also yellow is a very neutral color opposed to blue for boys and pink for girls.

final project

I chose to use bright colors, because they tend to catch the eye easier then what dull colors do. I chose very simple design so that teenagers who don't like very complex readings, will still feel that they can read my brochure. Like posted before i chose everything for my brochure so that teenagers would be drawn to look at it, and not just shrug it off. Because i know from personal experience being a teen parent is not always that easy. You loose alot of support from friends, and companions.

final project

Auidence:
My audience is the teenage group. This brochure is all about teenage parenthood. Mostly all of it is  informational, although some of it is all about what i have learned from personal experience. I hope by making this brochure that more teenagers will become informed and not make choices they aren't ready for.

final project

Typography-
The type of typography i used is sans serif. I used the font @Malgun Gothic, for the fact that is is easy to read. Most of the text on brochure is all bullets so that it can be organized. But still easy to read for the fact that it isnt always very easy to read informational brochures.
